Before the world’s weight crushed your joy
When your heart’s voice was on the tip of your tongue
It stopped for me when I first felt
The worry that I was nothing like I expected to be

I look like an old man but I am a king
On my chest is a jeweled gold plate
That my tattered cloak is hiding

Did you ever have a recurring dream
That is more insistent than dreams should be
